Decorte Guitars is a specialised Acoustic Guitarshop into Ghent, Belgium. No megastore, but a small serene guitarshop that breathes, lives, and revolves around all kind of acoustic guitars.
You first enter the store 'Decorte Guitars' and then the workshop 'Lutherie Decorte'.
With over 30 years’ experience, the owner Kurt Decorte can perfectly help you into the shop and workshop with the purchase, maintenance or repair of your acoustic guitar. Decorte Guitars does not aim at 'big, bigger or biggest'. We focus on passion, craftsmanship and the best instruments at the best price.

Maintenance - Repairs
Le studio est spécialisé dans l'entretien et la réparation d'instruments à cordes acoustiques : guitares de concert, guitares classiques, guitares flamenco, guitares folk, guitares jazz, luths, mandolines, banjos, etc. Et oui ! Même les guitares électriques. Nous faisons tout.
Nous sommes l'un des ateliers de réparation et de restauration les plus expérimentés du Benelux. Forts de plus de 30 ans d'expérience, nous avons gagné la confiance de musiciens amateurs et professionnels belges et étrangers, qui comptent sur nous pour leur fournir les services adaptés à leurs besoins.

Restorations
The workshop has been specialized since 1998 in the restoration and conservation of 18-19th century guitars, classical guitars and Luigi Embergher mandolines.
Thanks to participation in festivals and fairs such as Musicora Paris, Festival Alte Musik Berlin, Forum Gitarre Wien (Vienna) and Utrecht Early Music Festival, our workshop is recognized internationally whilst being respected for its restoration work and expertise.
Restored work is in the Musée de la Lutherie et de l'Archeterie in Mirecourt (Fr.) and the Berlin Musical Instrument Museum.
In addition, numerous collectors and musicians at home and abroad have restored an instrument in the studio.
